Sora is OpenAI's standalone social app for browsing, generating, and remixing short AI videos — distinct from the underlying Sora 2 video model that powers it. Where Sora 2 is the generation engine, the Sora app is the consumer product wrapped around it: an endless feed of AI clips, one-tap remixing of other people's generations, and Cameo, which turns "put my face in videos" from a deepfake risk into an opt-in, revocable feature.
